The Italian Navy at the Diving Winter National Championship

During the weekend all the athletes of the Italian Navy Competitive Sport Center participated to the Diving Winter National Championship in Bolzano.

Good scores for all the athletes: Subchief 2nd Class Michele Benedetti won the gold medal and the title of Italy’s Champion from the 3 meters trampoline, followed by Subchief Tommaso Rinaldi with a silver medal.

In the same specialty Commoner Gabriele Auber almost won a bronze medal, while Subchief 1st Class Tommaso Marconi placed himself fifth. In all, 4 places out of the 8 places for the final have been taken by the Navy’s athletes.
In the Synchronized Diving from the 3 meters trampoline victory and Italian Championship went to Navy’s duo Tommaso Marconi and Gabriele Auber; the second duo, Michele Benedetti and Tommaso Rinaldo, took the fourth place.

The last medal arrived thanks to Gabriele Auber, third place from the 1 meter trampoline, with Tommaso Rinaldi at the fourth place.
Credit goes not only to the athletes but also to coach Nicola Marconi, trainer Franco Fanella and physiotherapist Alessandro Capacchione.
