  • AB 212 ASW
    The backbone of the Italian Navy shipborne helicopter arm, the Bell 212 is a specialized version of the famous twin-engine Huey that performed its maiden flight in 1968. From the basic airframe, the Augusta developed, under license, an ad hoc naval version.
  • AB 212 Assault Helicopter
    Set up on May 2, 1994, the Helicopter Assault Group, formerly denominated Amphibious Warfare Team (NLA - Nucleo Lotta Anfibia), provides the Italian Navy with a shipborne flight component, tailored to the Italian Navy specific requirements, which is primarily focused on the support to the San Marco Brigade Landing Force.

Its major roles include CASEVAC/MEDEVAC (by fitting up to 12 stretchers), parachuting and electronic warfare. A rear ramp facilitates the loading of equipment or a light tactical vehicle.

    The EH- 101 ASH (Assault Support Helicopter) is a medium/heavy multi-role platform capable of performing multiple missions: special operations, amphibious support and Search and Rescue (S.A.R.).

  • Atlantic Mk1
    Breguet Br 1150 Atlantic is an all-weather aircraft manufactured in Europe and featuring high endurance and wide range. Atlantic is a twin-engined airplane, specifically designed to operate as Maritime Patrol Aircraft. Its mid-winged and "double-bubble" fuselage is all metal. The tricycle undercarriage is wholly retractable and consists of a pair of two-wheeled main legs. Its wing area totals 120 sq meters.
