A highly specialized 14-month course, with 8 weeks training at sea.
The course provides sophisticated technical skills, training experts in the field of marine geomatics, qualified to carry out high responsibility tasks and keep up with the rapid evolution of the new technologies.
Upon completion of the course, and after two years of documented operational work,  students can obtain the Category A hydrographer qualification, ratified by the International Hydrographic Organization.
The course is open to Navy personnel from Italy and abroad, and to graduates in technical and scientific disciplines. Among the subjects treated, management of coasts and shorelines, maritime infrastructures, and geological, geophysical and environmental matters related to the sea.
